I came across this recipe recently, it’s very simple to make, quick to prepare and you can have it with anything you like – on your sunday lunch, in a wrap or even just with some vegetable.

You can change the sauce to anything you prefer, I preferred to keep it slightly spicy, just enough to have a kick but enjoyable at the same time.

Preparation Time: <5 minutes
Cooking Time: 8 hours

  • 1kg Chicken Breast (I used 4 breasts)
  • 1tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • Pinch of Garlic Salt
  • Pinch of Pepper
  • Splash of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 bottle of Nandos Peri Peri sauce / Chipotle Cholula Hot Sauce

  • Add all ingredients to the slow cooker, on low.
  • Leave for 6 hours.
  • Get two forks out, shred all of the chicken and give a good mix.
  • Leave for a further 2 hours.
  • Done.
