Eating Out – Kobe Chic Bar and Restaurant

Today brunch was on the menu at Kobe, Chic Bar and Restaurant in Horsforth, Leeds. It’s only a short drive away from where I live and the menu looked pretty good. Especially brunch for 2 for £12, an absolute bargain!

When we arrived the staff were all really friendly and happy to see us to our table. Inside it’s very dark, lots of wood and leather everywhere, which adding to the effects of a chic bar make it look very inviting and modern.

The Energizer menu option from Kobe

As soon as we sat down we already knew what we were going to be eating, we’d been studying the menu before we had even set off! It was the one, the only Energizer for me. A delicious sounding concoction of sweet potato hash browns covered in oats and seeds followed by a serving of crispy bacon, two poached eggs with a salsa and guacamole garnish. It sounded like a winner.

When we were served our food, I was definitely not disappointed! It smelt delicious and looked fantastic. The combination of oats and seeds with a sweet potato hash brown was an absolute delight. Such a simple idea that I have never seen or heard of before. I believe that CrossFit Leeds were to thank for this delicacy.

If anyone would like a nutritious meal before 12pm and is around the Leeds / Bradford area then I would definitely recommend that you head down there for brunch and sample their menu. I will be going again, if it’s only for those hash browns…
